Privacy Policy — your safety guarantee

Overview

Software published by Mike Stay does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. This policy applies to all my applications including SysBar, ClockAlarm, SessionResetUtility, any other software not mentioned here and any of my future releases.

Data I Do Not Collect

• No personal information of any kind
• No usage statistics or analytics
• No crash reports or diagnostic data
• No hardware identifiers or system information
• No network traffic monitoring beyond local loopback (127.0.0.1)
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data

Local Data Only

SysBar communicates exclusively with LibreHardwareMonitor running on your own machine via localhost (127.0.0.1). No data leaves your computer. Configuration is stored in a local file at:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\TaskbarWidget\TaskbarWidget.ini

This file contains only your display preferences and is never transmitted anywhere.

Third-Party Services

My software does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Microsoft Store

When you download software through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect data about that transaction in accordance with their own privacy policy at privacy.microsoft.com. Mike Stay or my software have no access to that data.

Children

My software is appropriate for all ages and does not collect any data from any users regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Changes will only ever reflect additions to our software lineup — the core commitment to zero data collection will not change.
